Today, the unwanted high level of friction in conveyor systems leads to the following problems:

• The pulling medium (chain) is exposed to extreme levels of stress
• The sliding components build up high levels of heat.
  

This necessitates a high level of drive power, with the energy efficiency of the drive components being governed by:

• The efficiency of the drive components
• The energy efficiency class of the motors used.

Our conveyor systems have been designed to optimise levels of energy efficiency.  In particular, The CS (Conveyor Systems) range from Schüco Design’s Industrial Automation Division sets new standards in energy saving material flows even in complex applications.

Developing our conveyor systems, we focused our attention on the following goals:
