Conveyor systems often require adjustable product guides. These can be simple manual adjustment, but where frequent changes are required for multiple products, automated guides provide a fast and repeatable way for adjustment. This reduces downtime therefore increasing overall line efficiency.
Automatic guides are also suitable for areas with restricted access, such as high level conveyors, where manual adjustment is impractical.
One of our conveyor systems had all of these challenges that we addressed with an automated guide system using networked drives to synchronize and move the guides in zones. Adjustable bend guides were also installed to ensure the product remained central to the conveyor.
